Name for our Boat

The other day my wife and i were talking about what to name our boat. With this adventure beginning and not sure how to lable it, we brian stormed and brain stormed about many possibilities. We thought of the obvious; "Grand adventure", "Two Hull and back"; "Lost" but in our discussions we decided we wanted something biblical that would reflect our faith, and also one that might stir some conversation thereby allowing us an opportunity to share with others our experience.

Then it hit me, Recently I led a series of sunday school lessons from the book of Ecclesiastes and in this book the author is referring to everything we are trying to accomplish here on earth as "meaningless." and in chapter 2:11 he sais it "is all meaningless a chasing after the wind." That was it, i thought. that is the perfect name for our boat. "A Chasing After the Wind" So we have decided. after checking with the US Coast Guard it appears that it is approvable, and we will apply for that name when we find the right boat.

So get ready to look for us out there, we will be "A Chasing After the Wind" and we will be looking for you. -
